Fun Bakery - 忌廉芝士磅蛋糕

今次為DC泡製的生日蛋糕是非常樸實的《忌廉芝士磅蛋糕》,
製成品相當有《莎莉蛋糕》的那種親民感覺!

INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 1/2 cups butter
3 cups white sugar
6 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
3. Add eggs two at a time, beating well with each addition. Add the flour all at once and mix in. Add vanilla.
4. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) for 1 hour and 20minutes. Check for doneness at 1 hour. A toothpick inserted into center of cake will come out clean.

5. Cut the cake into two parts (upper and lower), apply strawberry topping in between then put them back together.

先把忌廉芝士及牛油打勻
這個recipe份量相當大,差點fill up一整個9"焗盤
最後洒上糖粉及放上草莓裝飾便大功告成
如果不太好甜的朋友要做這個蛋糕的話,可以減去1/4至半杯糖,又或者像我般將蛋糕切開兩份,然後塗一層草莓topping,加強了酸度後,整體的甜度便相對低了點
