突然....

今早i-pod隨意傳來Barbra Streisand的The Way We Were，這套電影的片段隨即閃過.. 如果你從沒看過這套電影，麻煩趁這個週末跑去買一隻DVD回家慢火煲它一煲！The Way We Were是1973年的作品，一直被譽為愛情片的經典，但我一直沒有看過，直到一天當我看過SATC的其中一集“ex and the city”後才令我的起心肝去借了一隻DVD回家看，哇.. 原來真的不得了！

那一集是講述Carrie知道舊愛Mr. Big要結婚了，新娘叫Natasha.. 一天，Carrie跟3位姊妹在酒吧傾訴心事，對話大致如下..

Carrie : really.. why her?

Miranda : one word, Hubbell..

Charlotte : Hubbell~~

Carrie : oh my god~ Hubbell?!?!?!?! it is.. it is so Hubbell~~

Samantha : Who is Hubbell?

Carrie : Hubbell.. Robert Hubbell Redford in The Way We Were..

Charlotte : oh I love that movie..

Carrie : oh I love love love that movie~~

Samantha : I never saw it..

Carrie/Charlotte : oh my god..

Miranda : what are you? alien? how could you never see The Way We Were..

Samantha : chick film..

Miranda : ok, Robert Redford is a man in love with Barbra Striesand..

Charlotte : Katie~~

Carrie : Kat Kat Katie..

Miranda : right, but he cant be with her becoz she is too complicated and she has wild curly hair..

Carrie : hello.. cur cur curly...

Miranda : yeah, so he leaves her and marries this.. simple girl.. with straight hair..

Carrie : oh ladies, the world is made up of two types of woman, the simple girls and the Katie girls.. and I'm a Katie girl~~

Charlotte : I always always always cried at the last scene of that movie when she sees him in front of the hotel with his new wife..

Carrie : this simple girl..

Charlotte : and she reaches out..

Carrie : and moves his hair away..

Miranda : and she says to him..

Miranda/Charlotte : yr girl is lovely Hubbell..

Charlotte : and then the music comes in..

Carrie : Memories.. light the corners of my mind..

Miranda : oh my god, it's so good..

接著Carrie離開酒吧，獨自在街頭漫步，最後更決定到Mr. Big舉行訂婚派對的酒店看看，誰知在門外就遇上了Mr. Big。Mr. Big大方的走向Carrie，然後開始對話..

Carrie : I've a question for u..

Big : Carrie..

Carrie : seriously, I really need hear you to say it.. come on.. be a friend..

Big : I dunno.. its just got so hard and she is..

Carrie : yeah..

(鏡頭影向遠處車內的Natasha)

Carrie : (伸出手撥弄Big的頭髮) yr girl is lovely Hubbell..

Big : I dont get it..

Carrie : and you never do..

Memories light the corners of my mind~~~ sighh.. what a sentimental Sat morning~
