今年聖誕整乜cake?


每年xmas eve party我都會焗製一個蛋糕以作點綴之用。過去幾年我都獨孤一味焗製同款的double chocolate cake, 只是在裝飾上稍加心思便當新產品上場。

今年的xmas eve party將會由寒舍轉易陣地到當尼的家,場地大了,嘉賓多了.. 所以我想蛋糕也應該換換了.. 經過一點爭扎,我最後決定選用Kriz所推薦的Luscious Chocolate Cake recipe,而我更在前2晚試整了一次。

recipe如下:
ingredient -
- 1/2 cup natural unsweetened cocoa
- 2 1/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar (caster)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sour cream
- frosting

how to make -
- position rack in middle of oven and preheat to 305F. butter and flour a 9-by-2-inch round cake pans
- whisk cocoa and 1/2 cup boiling water together in bowl. whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a seperate bowl
- beat butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed in a large bowl until blended; it will be dry. beat in eggs one at a time. on low, beat in flour altenately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour. blend in cocoa mixture
- bake 40 mins, until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. cool in pans on wire racks for 20 mins; remove pans and cool comepletely
- frost cake snd serve in wedges ( i used pillsbury chocolate frosting)

焗出來的製成品也算不賴,質感也相當不俗,只是稍嫌甜味不夠!這個蛋糕會於party當晚變成聖誕樹形,希望成功吧!
